You are:
The Associate Design Director works autonomously, leads a team, and brings the vision of multiple projects to life with little or no oversight. The Associate Design Director works closely with the co-creative leaders and across departments and with clients, thinking on a higher level about how best to drive the business. Internally, the Associate Design Director is a key contributor to the creative department and agency culture, and a mentor to shape more junior designers' careers. Their work is consistent in excellence and originality.
The work:
* Oversee multiple pieces of business at once, effectively managing time and delegating work
* Manage staff, both in reviewing work and in guiding their career development and growth
* Think beyond the campaign, always looking towards a bigger vision and developing comprehensive ecosystems of work
* Forge strong client relationships, and establish full client trust in your instincts and decisions
* Continually push work beyond the status quo and motivate and challenge all departments to go above what is expected
* See all briefs as opportunities and drive members of team from all departments to take the work a step above
* Work with other disciplines (e.g., Copywriter, Art Director, Account Management, Operations, Strategy, Project Management, Creative, UX, Design, Interactive Technology) to determine scopes and project requirements
Qualification
Basic Qualifications
* 7+ years of design experience at a creative agency or equivalent industry experience in the creative field across all media-including digital, social, film, longform content and print
* Portfolio or samples of work demonstrating extraordinary, smart, brand-building designs and executions
Bonus points if you have:
* Bachelor's degree or 12 years equivalent work experience; Bachelor's degree in design, visuals arts, advertising, digital media or related field
* Ability to multitask, manage simultaneous projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
* Collaborative and team oriented with proficiency working with members of all different departments, with a maturity that does not require anyone more senior to have to step in to intervene
* Exceptional organizational and planning skills, including exacting attention to detail and follow-through
* Strong oral and written communication skills for effective communication to clients, internal staff and management
* Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, etc), Figma.
* Excellent design taste and sensibility
* Experience in using GenAI as part of your workflow.
* Demonstrated ability of working in a self-sufficient manner
* Understanding of design process, beyond just campaign work
* Experience with Telecomm, Media and Technology (CMT) industry clients
* Experience in scaled AOR engagements at a design level
* Portfolio includes award-winning, industry-acclaimed work for craft and creativity (OneShow, AD&D, Cannes, Webbys, Emmys, Andys, Effies, ADC)
* Expertise in strategic brainstorming, brand world development, brand refreshes, campaign development,
* Motion graphics or illustration skills a plus
* Strong understanding of brand design systems principles
* Strong PowerPoint and client deck creation
* Excellent presentation skills and acts as client-facing representative for presentations
* Participates in new business initiatives
* Experience with emerging digital platforms
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York or Washington as set forth below.
