Position Overview:
As the Country Sales Manager, you will lead the development and execution of sales strategies for coronary and peripheral interventional products in Brazil. This role requires a proactive leader with deep expertise in medical device regulations, distributor management, and a proven ability to build relationships with hospitals, physicians, and industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Expansion & Distributor Management:
- Identify, onboard, and manage distributors to ensure alignment with sales targets and market coverage
- Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing accounts, focusing on coronary and peripheral vascular products.
- Monitor distributor performance, provide training, and resolve operational challenges
Regulatory Compliance & Market Access:
- Ensure compliance with Brazilian medical device regulations, including ANVISA registration, INMETRO certification (for active devices), and BGMP requirements
- Navigate MDSAP audits and leverage regulatory knowledge to streamline product approvals
Clinical & Technical Expertise:
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of coronary and peripheral interventional products (e.g., stents, atherectomy devices, thrombectomy systems) and their clinical applications
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to address technical inquiries and provide tailored solutions.
Sales Performance & Relationship Building:
- Achieve revenue targets by cultivating strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), hospitals, and clinics
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies
Autonomy & Leadership:
- Operate independently in a home-based role, demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit to identify and seize growth opportunities
- Mentor and guide sales teams or distributor partners to foster a culture of excellence
Qualifications:
- 8+ years in medical device sales, with a focus on cardiovascular/peripheral interventional products
- Proven success in distributor management and new market development in Brazil
Regulatory Knowledge:
- Expertise in ANVISA processes (e.g., RDC 751/2022), MDSAP, and INMETRO/ANATEL certifications
Language Skills:
- Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and verbal) is mandatory

- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration abilities
