Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for building works, renovations, and fit-outs.
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
  • Work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to refine project budgets.
  • Assist in tender preparation and evaluation.
  • Monitor project costs against estimates and provide regular reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in building and construction cost estimation, preferably at the corporate level.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and market rates.
  • Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
