Summary

The Role This is a full-time role based in Dallas, Texas. Sixth Street has an immediate opening for a bright, hard-working individual to join our team as part of the Cost Allocation & Analytics Team to support several of our investment funds in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to be an integral part of a growing team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment. This person will be interfacing with all levels of management to identify, improve, and implement processes that will have significant impact across the business More about the role: * Provide compliance support with Expense Allocations related to Sixth Street investment and operational activity. * Interact directly with senior members of Sixth Street investment platforms (Healthcare, Energy, Direct Lending) related to deal expense allocations * Interact directly with senior leadership of Sixth Street CORE (Legal, Tax, Information Technology) related to Expense Allocations for vendors and Sixth Street employee time * Unique, accounting adjacent - focus on expense activity within fund ledgers. No recording or reporting and no quarterly cycle, just review and analysis. * Process oriented - in a current transition from excel based systems to automated solutions. * Ground floor position - long term vision for group is to consolidate more fund expense related control /analysis post go live of new systems / automated solutions. * This position will be in a preparer role with understanding of key current processes will be critical to daily success. * Within 12 months (2025) knowledge gained on key current processes being applied to post go live workflow will be critical to daily success. Core Responsibilities * Assist with the management of expense codes and corresponding allocation rules * Assist with design and implementation of accounting systems and processes * Ensure compliance of expense recoveries in accordance with fund documents and maintain the associated log of decision making * Develop and implement processes and procedures throughout the expense life cycle * Manage and perform special projects and analysis for firm leadership What We Value * Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and team-oriented candidates with strong accounting and problem-solving skills * Commercial and Results Orientation * High Trust and Integrity * Strong combination of organizational and interpersonal/communication skills Preferred * Approximately 4-6 years of proven experience in vendor management * Self-starter who requires little direction * Ability to multi-task and maintain composure in a high-volume environment * Strong sense of urgency; ability to execute quickly and efficiently with strong attention to detail * Strong verbal and written communication abilities * Structured problem solver who is able to synthesize sophisticated information from a variety of sources into implementable recommendations and solutions * Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams. * Strong prioritization and project management skills. * Comfort working in a high growth, iterative environment About Sixth Street Founded in 2009, Sixth Street is a leading global investment firm dedicated to developing themes and offering solutions to companies across all stages of growth.
