We are seeking a Corporate IT Network Analyst!
Temporary Full Time Role
Responsibilities
The temporary Network Analyst is responsible for providing company-wide technical and resource services in the installation, configuration, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnosis of network computer hardware, peripheral equipment, servers and software; to install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair local-and wide-area network cabling; to provide network user support and assistance. The Network Analyst also is responsible for delivering quality customer service by auditing and analyzing cellular, long distance and local telephone charges and assisting in the implementing of telephone system changes and modifications. The Network Analyst must interact with other Information Technology resources to ensure prompt resolution of any telephone billing problems. The Network Analyst is responsible for assessment of Hospital wiring and Network configuration and provide recommendations for proper installation. This position is responsible for following-up with users on all outstanding problems logged through the Service Desk and serves as a resource for the on-call off hours support on a rotation. This position is responsible for break / fix activities as well as new equipment installation.
The temporary Network Analyst also works on special projects as assigned.
The temporary Network Analyst reports to the VP of Enterprise IT Network.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in the planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) , wide area networks (WANS) and telephony networks (eg Voice over IP, cellular) across the organization.
* Analyst will participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software and communication links.
* The network analyst position will analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training where required.
* Respond to service desk referrals, provide for or assist in providing users support for network software, operating system, hardware and peripheral equipment, and troubleshoot as necessary.
* Responsible for evaluation and recommendations of hardware to be used in a hospital setting.
* Responsible for working with the hospital leadership in identifying technology needs, in alignment with the corporate IT strategy.
* Maintain inventory of all IT equipment upon installation.
* Monitor and report on any security violations related to the unwarranted access to corporate data.
* Maintains awareness of the rapidly changing Vibra HealthCare environment and recommends cost efficient techniques when supporting corporate and field systems users.
* Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion.
* Adheres to Departmental Change Control procedures.
* All other duties as assigned by Information Technology Management.
* Occasional travel may be required.
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
* At least three years hardware evaluation, acquisition, installation and maintenance experience.
* At least three years experience with technical problem resolution and support.
* At least three years experience in application system configuration and set-up.
* A technology-oriented bachelor's degree is desirable.
* CCNA, Network+, MCITP & wireless certificated desirable.
* Avaya IP Office phone system experience.
* Mobile device client administration and support (Cellular.)
* Mobile device management software.
* Installation of HP Printers.
* Windows clients
* Windows Server installation and administration desirable.
* Network client installation and configuration on a variety of platforms.
* Requires superior teamwork skills.
* Excellent documentation skills a plus
* Ability to work with leaders and employees within a hospital setting.
