As an Internal Audit Specialist, you will be in-charge of the following responsibilities:

Internal Audit and Accounting System

• Revisit and evaluate existing Financial and Accounting policies and procedures on Cash Handling, Sales, Inventory, and Fixed Assets.
• Communicate, enforce, and monitor compliance of Departments as well as the employees with current Financial and Accounting policies and procedures.
• Conduct Balance Sheet review and other related financial reports.

Internal Audit and Reporting

• Conduct periodic store operations audit of all company-owned and franchise stores.
• Conduct Construction Audits of new store projects and existing store renovations.
• Conduct special audits/studies on specific areas like fraud investigations, management services, and special projects like Operation processes, IT Projects, and other relevant financial analysis.
• Participate in the planning, design, development, and implementation of major-computer-based systems and determines whether:
• Adequate controls are incorporated in the system
• Thorough system testing is performed at appropriate stages
• System documentation is complete and accurate
• The needs of the user and the organization are met.

Standards

• Assist in instituting internal controls on fixed assets processes and recommend process improvements.
• Help develop new and enhanced work processes in close coordination with other departments to provide corrective actions to recurring problems, including audit findings, as well as preventive controls to avoid potential problems from occurring.
• Assist in the preparation of the section’s budget and other administrative activities as may be directed

AD HOC

• Perform other tasks that may be assigned either individually or as part of a committee.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must have good understanding and appreciation of risks, controls and accounting concepts.
