Summary

We’re seeking a seasoned Corporate Controller to lead the company’s accounting operations and drive financial integrity, reporting accuracy, and process optimization in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a strategic thinker with a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality.


The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, a strong operational mindset, and proven experience in multi-entity, multi-location environments. A successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic, growth-oriented organization and bring strong experience with NetSuite and CPA credentials.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the accounting function, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and tax compliance
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Manage and mentor the accounting team, driving professional development and operational excellence
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies and controls
  • Collaborate with the CFO and executive leadership to support strategic decision-making and M&A activity
  • Develop and refine financial reporting processes and systems, including dashboard and KPI development
  • Partner with operations to support financial visibility and accountability across all locations
  • Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and scalability of finance processes
  • Requirements:

    • 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership/controller role
    • Experience working in a private equity-backed company is a must
    • Strong background in multi-entity, multi-location operations
    • Hands-on NetSuite experience is required
    • Active CPA license
    • Solid understanding of US GAAP, financial compliance, and internal controls
    • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and build scalable accounting infrastructures
    • High attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in a high-growth or transaction-heavy environment (e.g., M&A, carve-outs)
    • Exposure to inventory, manufacturing, or distribution accounting (if applicable)
    • Strong Excel and data analysis skills
