Main Purpose of the Role

AEW is seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Corporate Controller to join our Corporate Finance team. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Corporate Controller will play a critical role in managing the corporate finance and accounting functions of the firm. This individual will serve as a strategic thought partner to the CFO and drive financial processes, reporting, controls, and operational efficiency across the corporate platform

Skills/Experience Req

  Bachelor’s degree in accounting required, CPA strongly pref
• erred.10+ years of corporate accounting/controllership experience in the asset management/financial services industry pref
• erred.Strong technical accounting skills with deep understanding of GAAP/IFRS (including accounting for multi-currency enti
• ties).Proven ability to lead, develop, and mentor accounting
• teams.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving s
• kills.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to partner across all levels of the organiz
• ation.Deep experience with accounting/general ledger systems, reporting tools and FP&A technology (familiarity with MS Great Plains, Oracle Planning, Oracle Smartview/Essbase a
