A Kforce client is seeking a Corporate Controller (Senior Director) to join their team in Providence, RI. This client is a large global publicly traded manufacturing/technologies company. The Corporate Controller reports into the CAO and will lead strategic finance and day-to-day accounting functions for a $2B+ publicly traded company. This role will lead a team, including Manager and Senior Manager level reports. This is a hybrid role with at least 3 days/week in office. Responsibilities will include: * The Corporate Controller leads day-to-day accounting functions including month-end close, financial consolidation, and overseeing the preparation of financial statements * Ensure GAAP compliance on a variety of complex technical transactions (including revenue recognition, SEC filings, inventory, fair value accounting, stock-based compensation and FX/hedging * Preparation and review of financial reports and budgets with the executive leadership team * Involved with strategic planning and decision making across various business units * Responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing of high performing leaders and their teams to achieve excellence and continuous growth* Big 4 CPA with 15-20 years of experience, in a large (public) corporate environment * Strong technical skills including revenue recognition, inventory, acquisitions, and SEC * Demonstrated leadership skills leading + mentoring teams * Team player with strong business partnering skills
