Summary

The Corporate Communications and Digital Storytelling Specialist is responsible for writing internal and external communications for Whole Food Market as well as creating strategic digital assets for use on LinkedIn and Instagram. This creative communications professional should have exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with a deep understanding of how brands show up on social media channels and how to create content that resonates with key audiences and includes key messaging. This role is perfect for a food lover who understands social media channels inside and out. You know what is trending online and how brands should show up within that conversation. You can create content quickly and ensure it supports a strong strategy that ladders up to overall digital storytelling goals. This position is located in Austin, TX, with an expectation of being in-office five days a week. Responsibilities: * Authors, edits, coordinates, and plans content for LinkedIn and Instagram * Supports Corporate Communications team with operations communications needs for internal and external audiences * Researches and monitors brand competitors, develops compelling copy to ensure brand is relevant, competitive and engaging * Supports editorial calendar and content strategy * Responsible for writing clear and impactful communications that support brand initiatives, differentiators and overall strategy * Supports team with brainstorming relevant and clever executions that will resonate with target audiences, both internal and external Skills: * Experience managing writing projects * Knowledgeable on LinkedIn and Instagram platforms from a user and brand perspective * Knows how brands can be culturally savvy online while remaining a professional presence * Experience writing for a variety of channels and platforms, ideally for both internal and external audiences * Maintains positive working relationships with leadership and functional stakeholders * A fast learner that can adapt writing and messaging for a variety of platforms and audiences * Self-starter with a get it done attitude who can effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects * Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening * Strong attention to detail * Creative and social savvy Education & Experience: * BA/BS degree and 2-4 years relevant experience OR equivalent education and relevant experience * Previous experience writing copy and/or creating content for brand social media channels At Whole Foods Market, we provide a fair and equal employment opportunity for all Team Members and candidates regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, age, marital status, disability, or any other legally protected characteristic.
