Corporate Accounting Manager: Farmers Branch or Lewisville locations

Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end financial close process in accordance with US GAAP accounting standards; record journal entries; prepare intercompany eliminations and consolidate financial statements
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the corporate accounting function, including multiple general ledgers, consolidations, cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable and inventory management.
• Assist with M&A due diligence and integration
• Assist with annual budgets and monthly forecast
• Facilitate annual financial statement audit by completing external audit requests and reviewing financial statements and notes.

Qualifications

• CPA with 5+ years’ progressive experience with corporate accounting (or equivalent)
• Background in public accounting highly preferred
• Advanced analytical ability and strong Excel skills
• Manufacturing (or equivalent that had significant inventory) accounting background a plus
