Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Month-end close process
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, expenses, and payments.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
Here are the associated tasks:
- Accounts payable, credit card management, and bank reconciliations
- Investment activity booking in QuickBooks
- Black Diamond maintenance
- Intra-family loans, management fees, and inter-company transactions
- Sub docs management and K-1/1099 preparation
- Payroll processing (5 salaried employees, 1 with benefits)
- 1099 preparation
- 1065 preparation (K1s, and other schedules from 1065)
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
- IFRS and US GAAP Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Proven experience as a Corporate Accountant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
