What your day will look like: * Builds positive associate morale * Manage all aspects of UNITED projects across all functional areas of the company * Focus will be on complex cross-functional projects but may include support for other key initiatives that are specific to certain departments. * Provide expertise and best practices for associates outside of the PMO that may have project management responsibilities * Define project scope and objectives * Determine internal and external resources required * Estimate project costs * Establish and track a budget * Develop a detailed project plan using tools determined by the PMO * Identify cross-functional interdependences and take actions to resolve * Establish and manage project update meetings * Report project progress to various stakeholders * Provide insights into the overall portfolio of projects * Align projects to UNITED's corporate strategic plan * Memorialize project learnings through conducting post-mortem analysis against desired results * Collaborate with other PMO team members on project management methodology and contribute to continuous improvement of the processes * Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management What you need to succeed: * Minimum age 18 years old * Valid driver's license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy * Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies * Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job * Ability to read, write and speak English * Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines * Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets * Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology * Strong leadership and organizational skills * Performs work under general supervision.
