Description:

• We are seeking a talented and creative Copywriter and editor to join our Brand marketing team.
• In this role, you create targeted and optimized content for our digital platforms supporting consumer products and building brand visibility.
• Working with the creative team, product marketing, web team, SEO leads and digital team to align digital content efforts across all key areas of the business.

Duties:

• Develop and write engaging and persuasive copy for email marketing and online content for etail and ecommerce, including product descriptions, landing pages, and promotional materials.
• Create compelling email marketing content that drives customer engagement, retention, and calls to action.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to understand campaign objectives and ensure that all copy aligns with brand guidelines and messaging.
• Work with key stakeholders to conduct research on target audiences, industry trends, and competitive landscape to create content against provided tasks and strategy
• Work with SEO lead to optimize content to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic to our website.
• Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in SEO, email, digital marketing, and e-commerce.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in copywriting, preferably within email communication and online/digital content
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in writing commerce web content and email marketing copy.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in SEO best practices and experience with keyword research tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a knack for persuasive writing.
• Experience working with consumer products are within the manufacturing space.

Compensation:

• $35.91 – 39.29/hr W-2
