Job Description AMC Networks is home to many of the greatest stories and characters in TV and film and the premier destination for passionate and engaged fan communities around the world. We create and curate celebrated series and films across distinct brands and make them available to audiences everywhere. Our portfolio includes targeted streaming services AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and HIDIVE; cable networks AMC, BBC AMERICA, IFC, Sundance TV and WE tv; and film distribution labels IFC Films and RLJE Films. The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business. We are currently seeking a Coord - Corporate Communications to join our Internal Communications team based in our New York, New York headquarters. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Support the strategic development and execution of the company's presence at key business and industry events and executive thought leadership opportunities including earned placements and sponsorships, table purchases and branding placements * Assist in the drafting of written materials including awards submissions, event and executive briefing memos, bios, internal communications, etc * Support external speechwriting, talking point development and on-site logistical support and staffing of senior business leaders * Assist in the management of the company's ongoing relationships with industry partner organizations including The WICT Network, The Paley Center for Media, NAMIC, AFI, CTAM and more * Management of the company's digital presence across its corporate website, press center, extranet and corporate social media profiles including Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn * Support of the company's government affairs and corporate social responsibility efforts including corporate philanthropy and the company's employee donation matching program * Support the planning and execution of employee engagement activities including the company's internal speaker series, advance AMCN content screenings, monthly all hands meetings, senior business review meetings and business employee resource group activations * Partner with other corporate groups including Human Resources, Marketing, Facilities and GT&O on the production and execution of internal communications campaigns and initiatives * Assist in the creation and distribution of promotional corporate brand assets. * Shared day-to-day management of the department's co-op and summer intern positions QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred) * Bachelor's degree * 1-2 years of relevant work experience * Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel * Excellent organizational and multitasking skills * Strong writing and editing skills * Team player and leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Can exercise a high level of discretion with confidential and sensitive information * Able to move comfortably around the company at all levels, including senior leadership team interaction as a valued and trusted colleague with impeccable judgment * Hands-on experience with email and content management platforms (Polite Mail, WordPress, etc.) The base compensation range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000 commensurate with experience.
