Job Title: Controls Specialist – Modeling and Simulation
Working Pattern: Fulltime
Working location: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid working)
As a simulation specialist, you will be part of a multidiscipline team responsible for the development, testing and continuous integration of the hardware and software test environment used in the development and qualification of electronic engine control software and hardware-in-the-loop investigations. You will ensure that all delivered test and simulation products meet program requirements. You will coordinate with project teams, customers receiving the test and simulation assets, and vendors supporting these assets. You will be responsible for the automated build and execution tool and process used for executing batched test programs running on the simulation environment. You will be involved at all stages of a project lifecycle from concept development, integrated/component testing through final production release and maintenance.

What You Will Be Doing
With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to:
- Planning, designing and developing software solutions of real-time simulation test platforms
- Integration, testing and troubleshooting of software/hardware and software/software designs
- Technical management and improvement of the automated build and execution tool and process used for executing batched test programs running on the simulation environment
- Presentation of technical data to senior engineers, management, and customers

Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in software engineering (development or testing) -OR-
- Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience in software engineering (development or testing) -OR-
- JD/PhD
- Must be a US Citizen
Preferred Requirements
- Strong software development skills in C/C++, Python, CMake, Bash, Simulink, Continuous Integration/Automation (e.g. Jenkins), UNIX shell
- Modelling, Simulation, and Control System experience
- Knowledge in software design patterns and software testing framework
- Familiarity with Embedded Systems Architecture and Design
- Knowledge of electronics (sensors, actuators, and processors)
- Understanding of UNIX, Windows OS, and build environments
- Hardware (electronics/circuits) troubleshooting experience
- Strong understanding of software configuration management and software architectures
- Familiarity with MIL-STD-3022.
- Certified Modeling & Simulation Professional Master level certification.
- Current (or ability to obtain/maintain) US DOD Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance
