Job Summary: As the Controls Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in enhancing PLC communications and technology. This position is best suited for an experienced individual with an ownership mentality who thrives in a collaborative environment.

Day-to-Day:

• Manage key supplier relationships and stay updated on new technology offerings.
• Manage team processes, including program documentation and revision management.
• Facilitate company cross-functional communications regarding new features.
• Manage and prioritize team projects.
• Develop, implement, and maintain PLC programs for core platforms and custom units.
• Develop and maintain tools to optimize deployments and support.
• Provide engineering support to the manufacturing floor for testing and troubleshooting of new programs and systems.
• Investigate and implement automation opportunities for production and testing areas.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar field.
• 6+ years’ relevant controls engineering experience.
• CAREL controllers knowledge preferred.
• The ability to coordinate and lead implementation of new programs.
• The ability to maintain and contribute to quality controls.
