Essential Responsibilities for this role:
Development, deployment, and integration of Advanced Regulatory Control applications
Support deployment and integration of Expert Systems
Produce technical documentation (e.g. reports, manuals, specifications, drawings);
Conduct data analyses
Verification and validation of software through inspection, simulation and testing
Deliver automation solutions, ensuring that the system meets plant and industry standards
Thoroughly follow structured Application Development practices to ensure fast and efficient System development
Provide training for engineers and technicians as needed for new processes, equipment, or control systems
Qualifications/Requirements
3+ Years of post-graduate experience in a Control engineering project environment
A post-secondary diploma or degree in Electrical, Instrumentation or Process Automation Engineering
Skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
International work experience would be beneficial, or the proven ability to work with different cultures on a technical project.
Experience commissioning, tuning, and troubleshooting control systems.
Proficiency in developing software (Logic and SCADA) for Control Systems (ABB, DeltaV, Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, Honeywell, etc.)
