Sugino Corp, provides high pressure washing and deburring solutions, including precision cutting and machining, backed by world-class service and support is looking for a Controls Engineer in our Wixom, Michigan location. The Controls Engineer is to provide customers with on-site repair, troubleshooting, programming, or maintenance services for Sugino equipment. Must be able to travel to a customer site at a moment’s notice.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, electrical control devices.
• Assist plant associates with technical questions and potential solutions.
• Possess ability to investigate and resolve HMI and PLC issues as needed.
• Ability to interpret PLC Ladder logic.
• Ability to work well independently on smaller projects.
• Ability to travel 40% to 90%.
• Aid in the installation and startup of new equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Test and verify electrical wiring: safety circuits, I0, communications, etc.
• Debug and test all software to meet project requirements.
  
  

Experience Requirements

• Three (3) years of Fanuc PMC Controllers experience.
• Three (3) years of Rockwell PLC Control experience.
• Minimum experience with Mitsubishi PLC control.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in automation/manufacturing environment.
  
  

Education Requirements

• Four (4) year degree or equivalent in engineering, preferably electrical recommended but not mandatory
