Summary

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with our engineering team to ensure the efficiency and reliability of our equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop control systems for automated machinery and processes.
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and other control devices.
  • Collaborate with OEMs to integrate control solutions into new and existing equipment.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for control systems including specifications, operational procedures, and maintenance manuals.
  • Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel and operators.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with Allen Bradley PLC and HMI programming.
  • Familiarity with Siemens control systems and programming.
  • Strong understanding of pneumatics and their application in automation.
  • Experience with Ethernet communication protocols in industrial environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
