Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Description
This role involves commissioning in the field at various customer sites throughout the East Coast. Key tasks include performing remote I/O checks, setting up IP addresses for VFDs, verifying device communications to PLCs, and making basic edits to PLCs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct L1 commissioning at customer sites across the East Coast.
- Perform remote I/O checks to ensure system functionality.
- Set up IP addresses for VFDs accurately.
- Verify device communications to PLCs to ensure seamless operation.
- Perform basic edits to PLCs as required.
Essential Skills
- Experience in commissioning in the field.
- Proficiency in Rockwell automation systems.
- Knowledge of VFD, PLC, and conveyor systems.
- Understanding of device communications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with field service and automation.
- Familiarity with HMI systems.
Work Environment
This is a travel role with a schedule of 10 days on followed by 4 days off. Work will primarily take place at customer sites throughout the East Coast. Meetings will be conducted using MS Teams.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
