Hyperion International Technologies is seeking a junior to mid-level Controls and Automation Engineer who will work with clients and vendors to design the systems and controls that meet the customer’s needs. The Engineer will have a good understanding of the various technologies available and the ability to recommend the right solution based on the project needs. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, innovative, persistent and focused on customer service.

Responsibilities

• Control system design
• PLC programming and HMI Configuration
• Startup, testing and Commissioning
• System upgrades and modifications
• Troubleshooting and support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of systems and controls
• Experience with general construction, utilities, and/or water and wastewater treatment plants is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand civil, mechanical, structural, and electrical drawings is a plus.
• Ability to create process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office products and other standard software packages.
• Proficient with CAD and other design software platforms.

Salary range: $70,000-90,000
