Summary

Job Duties

  • Installation planning and support
  • Commissioning and PLC software validation (Automatic Commissioning Tools)
  • Development and implementation of standards and specifications focused on: IT Network Design, Logic, HMI and visual display, IT interfaces to plant floor PLCs, Diagnostic visualization,
  • Technical innovation research, Solution testing and validation, Specification documentation
  • Educate others regarding technical innovations and specification roll-out.
  • Project Management: Project timing and goals, direction to resources, monitor projects, report status of projects during regular team meetings
  • Support Plants during down time events as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all controls related applications
  • Support all controls equipment found within the plant environment (spanning Body Shop, Paint Shop and General Assembly)

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Manufacturing Automation
  • Minimum 5 years in an Automotive manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of PLC Programming
  • Understanding of HMI Development; WinCC and Factory Talk View
  • Knowledge of RFID Technology related to plant floor automation
  • Experience with PLC interlocks with robots, ICT drivers for FIS, AVI and connectivity for PFS, PFCS, software & electrical, with interfacing with several controls equipment suppliers
  • Experience with Information Technology Systems
  • Strong and proficient understanding of Computer Programming Skills (SQL, HTML, JAVA)
  • Demonstrated team leadership and communication skills

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $24.96/hour - $39.01/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
