Summary
Description
Company is looking to fill a Controls and Autonomy Research Engineer position in the Intelligent Control Systems group for R&D projects in the areas of autonomous guidance, navigation and control for multiple aerial and space vehicles.
Responsibilities
Integrate advanced autonomous GNC and optimization algorithms into complex high-fidelity simulations and hardware systems, and carry out and document performance analyses.
Support hardware-in-the-loop and experimental testing of advanced GNC algorithms.
Work in a team or as a task lead to execute technical tasks.
Contribute technical materials for reports, presentations, and proposals.
Requirements
Required Skills/Experience
MS in mechanical, electrical or aerospace engineering with background in advanced GNC for autonomous vehicles.
Strong background in hardware integration and testing of unmanned vehicles.
Strong programming skills in C++ and proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Desirable Skills/Experience
Background in system dynamics in one or more domains including ground, water surface, underwater, aerial, and space vehicles.
Proficiency in other programming languages.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
