Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Controller/Senior Staff Accountant located in Edmonton, AB. The individual in this role will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, planning, day-to-day tasks include managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting financial analyses, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and preparing financial statements. This role also involves maintaining internal controls and providing strategic financial insights to support the company's growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and full cycle accounting
• Skills in managing accounts payable and receivable
• Proficiency in conducting financial analyses and preparing financial statements
• Ability to ensure compliance with accounting standards and maintain internal controls
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• CPA certification or equivalent is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
