Company Overview:

A private investment firm with $1 billion+ in assets under management is seeking a Fund CFO/Controller to guide their accounting operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Shadow books and records for NAV (both public and private equity funds)
• Manage expense budgets, allocations, and processing for the Management Company and funds
• Provide valuation support and coordination
• Prepare annual audit and financial statements for private funds
• Handle management company accounting, including payroll, expenses, and QuickBooks maintenance
• Prepare management company financials and management packs
• Oversee end-to-end management of trading operations
• Run shadow NAV in order management system against fund administrator
• Support IR/marketing team on client reports and DDQ items
• Conduct financial modeling and project work
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience at Big 4 accounting or hedge fund/private equity
• Experience with private equity complex waterfall and performance calculations
• Degree in accounting, CPA or advanced degree preferred
• Interest in expanding skillset beyond accounting
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
