Responsibilities
- Responsible for all financial related matters, including AR/AP/Inventory Control
- Manages local accounting staff
- Works closely with General Manager and the entire management team
- Coordinates monthly closing process
- Prepares and reviews journal entries for the Region
- Maintains account reconciliations (prepaids, accruals, etc.)
- Develops annual budgets/ monthly forecasts, and communicates to management team
- Responsible for timely and accurate preparation of the Daily Profitability Report
- Helps management analyze and justify capital expenses
- Works with external and internal auditors to plan and execute financial statement audits and Sarbanes-Oxley audits
Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of financial reporting requirements
- Ability to work with all levels of personnel in a team environment
- Proactive strategic thinker
- Skilled at analytics, budgeting, financial planning, financial statement preparation and analysis
- Experience with capital projects
- Manufacturing / Job Costing Knowledge
- Ability to translate a business opportunity into a financial justification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting
- Public Accounting Experience a plus
- High degree of technical competency using various software platforms
- 5+ years of related accounting or finance experience preferably in a large manufacturing setting
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
