Job Details

As the Controller, you will direct all accounting functions within the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and a strong internal control environment. You will manage key financial processes, lead a team, and work closely with the executive leadership to provide strategic financial guidance.

Hybrid; on site in Washington, IN on an as needed basis

What You’ll Do

• Oversee Accounting Operations Lead and manage financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, journal entries, monthly close processes, billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, regulatory filings, and treasury functions.
• Internal Controls Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain a robust internal control environment across all financial activities.
• ERP Transition Lead the preparation for the future transition to a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Evaluate business requirements, assist in selecting a new system, and play a key role in the system implementation.
• Financial Advisory Provide financial guidance to the Executive Team and other leadership regarding financial performance, strategies, and business decisions.
• Project Management Take on additional projects and tasks as assigned, contributing to continuous process improvements and overall company growth.
  
  

What You Bring

• Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related finance field (required). CPA designation preferred.
• Experience At least 8 years of accounting experience with a proven track record of leadership in financial operations.
  
  

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership abilities with the capacity to manage and motivate a team.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and specialized accounting software.
• Experience with ERP systems is required; previous experience leading an ERP transition is highly preferred.
• Experience working in a dynamic environment, particularly in healthcare, is a plus.
