Our client in the financial services sector is sourcing a controller for a 7 month contract that has the potential for extension.

About the role:

• Lead the consolidation process for a diversified group of entities, requiring an in-depth understanding of various subsidiaries' operations and transactions. Collaborate closely with regional finance teams to proactively address and resolve issues impacting the quarterly financial close process.
• Prepare quarterly consolidated management accounts, including cash flow statements and detailed variance analysis. Identify, monitor, and manage intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for financial reporting systems, including a mid-market ERP general ledger and reporting tools. Ensure the integrity of the financial data and oversee the accurate mapping of the chart of accounts to system-generated financial reports.
• Manage the fixed asset ledgers for the holding entities, including processing depreciation, handling disposals and retirements, and producing timely reports on actual and projected capital expenditures.
• Act as the global administrator for a corporate budgeting and forecasting platform. Provide training to users on both the ERP system (covering modules such as Payables, Multicurrency, Fixed Assets, Chart of Accounts, and Project Accounting) and the forecasting system as needed.
• Coordinate and prepare various regulatory and public financial disclosures, including semi-annual and annual reports, and required solvency or capital adequacy filings.
• Maintain robust internal controls and standardized processes to support accurate and efficient group-level financial reporting.

Must Have Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with reporting & consolidations
• Experience with multi-currency environments
• Experience in the financial services sector
• CPA designated (international designation is ok)
• Experience with external reporting is an asset, but not required.
