```Duties``` - Oversee all aspects of the company's financial management and reporting - Manage and supervise the accounting team - Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP - Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency - Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with SOX regulations - Manage the budgeting process and provide financial forecasts - Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and regulatory reporting - Collaborate with other departments to support business operations and strategic initiatives ```Qualifications``` - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred) - Proven experience as a Controller or similar role - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, regulations, and standards (GAAP) - Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks - Experience with balance sheet reconciliation, account reconciliation, and accounts receivable - Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders - Solid understanding of budgeting processes Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
