Our client in Roswell, GA, is currently seeking a Controller with 10+ years of progressive accounting experience. Previous Private equity and public accounting experience preferred! This role is Hybrid, reporting to the Roswell, GA office 3 times per week.

• Oversee the reconstruction and ongoing management of the company’s financial systems, including full ownership of monthly close, financial reporting, and tax compliance processes.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to the accounting team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Manage all regulatory filings, including sales tax, VAT, and other statutory compliance requirements across relevant jurisdictions.
• Direct accounting operations for both domestic and international entities, ensuring timely and accurate financial closings each period.
• Ensure all month-end processes are completed within established deadlines, including thorough review of account reconciliations and accruals.
• Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to company policies.
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies by evaluating and updating current accounting practices.
• Deliver accurate financial statements and forecasts, while enhancing reporting processes and strengthening internal controls.
• Support the annual budgeting process and monitor monthly results against budgeted targets.
• Oversee payroll accuracy and ensure proper accounting treatment of payroll-related transactions.
• Lead ERP system usage and optimization, including implementation of system enhancements and integrations.
• Cultivate a collaborative and results-driven team culture focused on accountability and performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop a global accounting team, including both direct and indirect reports.
• Support the CFO with special projects and other financial responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of Accounting Experience
• Private equity and public accounting experience
• NetSuite and Excel experience
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
