Responsibilities


  • Manage the general ledger system and closing processes.
  • Post month-end entries and reconcile accounts to ensure accurate financial statements.
  • Generate financial reports and perform in-depth analysis using the Biznet reporting tool.
  • Maintain compliance with Sales and Use Tax regulations.
  • Oversee inventory valuation, fixed asset tracking, and treasury management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead implementation strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships with plant team members and understand manufacturing operations.
  • Handle additional accounting and finance-related projects as assigned.



Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • 3–5 years of leadership experience supervising an accounting department (preferred)
  • Public accounting and manufacturing experience (preferred)
  • CPA certification (preferred)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables
  • High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
  • Inquisitive mindset for investigating issues and driving process improvements
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
