Roessel Joy has partnered with an established Food Manufacturing company in Norwood, MA on an exciting Corporate Controller opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a strong food manufacturing background and ideally some experience with MS Dynamics 365.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the plant.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the plant management team to optimize operational efficiency.
• Own the annual budget process.
• Manage plant expenses and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Maintain a strong system of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Drive forward continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process and efficiencies.
• Manage and mentor the plant finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in financial management role and 3+ years of experience in manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of various ERP systems. MS Dynamics 265 preferred.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work cross functionally.
