About The Team

The finance department of Thales Nederland consists of :50 team members organized in 2 different competence centers (clusters):

• Shared Services Accounting, Reporting & Controlling;
• Bid & Project, Industrial and Procurement Control (Business Control)
  
  
  

Shared Services Accounting, Reporting & Controlling is responsible for accounting, reporting and controlling of departments and entities of Thales Nederland. The cluster is also responsible for internal control and subsidy control. For the Financial Control team, we are looking for a: Controller.

About The Job

You will be our new key-user of the Oracle modules Project administration, Apro Banking, Cash Management and Fixed Assets. The main tasks are:

Key-user Project Administration

• Responsible for opening projects, closing projects, project changes, update of budgets
• Yearly set-up of (new) departments, hourly rates, material handling charges, etc.
• Processing of financial corrections
• Period closing of the Oracle Projects module
  
  
  

Key-user Fixed Assets

• Responsible for preparing the fixed assets file on a monthly basis
• Process activations, divestments and transfers during the year
• Period closing of the Oracle Fixed Assets module
  
  
  

Accounting activities & Key user Apro Banking

• Processing bank statements and prepare payment files for Cash Pooler
• Prepare monthly overviews of our bank accounts.
• Regular checks on journal entries
• Monitor & specify some balance sheet accounts
• Assisting the teamleader Accounting with various (ad-hoc) activities
• Period closing of the Oracle Cash management, Inventory and Purchase Orders module
  
  
  

About You

• You have just finished your Bachelor or Master degree in Finance or started some years ago with your working career in a Finance position
• You have an enthusiastic, pro-active attitude and feel responsible for your job
• You have problem-solving abilities and a great attention for detail
• You have good communication skills in Dutch and English
• You are able to work independently, in a team environment and with various organizational levels
• Affinity with ERP systems and IT tooling is an advantage; preferably Oracle
