Controller

Our client is a mid-sized, successful and stable manufacturing company. They are looking to hire a talented Controller to manage the general accounting and reporting for the company. They are looking for someone with prior Controller level experience within a manufacturing company. This role requires working fully onsite and offering a salary in the range of $140,000 - $150,000. In addition, they offer a strong benefits package inclusive of health insurance, 401k with match and a generous PTO program.

Responsibilities of the position include:

• You will manage day to day accounting for the company
• Oversee a team of four
• Evaluate current processes, offer improvement ideas
• Heavy involvement in month-end close, workpapers, etc.
• Assist outside auditors with year-end audits

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 10+ years of accounting experience required, CPA license is a plus
• Experience in the manufacturing field a must
• 5+ years of management experience required
• Strong systems skills
• Top notch organizational skills and the ability to collaborate across the company
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with company executives
