Position Overview:

Inomedic is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee, track, and evaluate the company’s daily accounting activities. The successful candidate will manage financial systems to collect, analyze, verify, and report information. You will also work with the company’s CFO to establish and support the company’s overall financial health. To succeed in this role, you must have a solid background in accounting.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making by senior management.


Requirements:

  • Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar financial management role.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • 3–5 years of experience with Deltek Costpoint Accounting System (required).
  • Experience creating financial statements and performing the month-end/year-end close process in Costpoint.
  • Degree in Accounting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.
  • High emotional intelligence with strong nurturing aptitude.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Experience with Government Contract Accounting; familiarity with FAR and DCAA reporting requirements.
