Summary

We are a highly acquisitive and rapidly growing company ($100M+ in revenue) seeking a Controller in our corporate office located in the Perimeter area. This will be a hybrid role. As a Controller, you will work with the CFO and other members of the finance management team, assisting with financial reporting, financial analysis, leadership of accounting staff, and the annual audit. The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:


  • Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting across multiple entities
  • Lead and scale a shared services accounting model that supports the company’s acquisitive growth strategy
  • Partner with the CFO to standardize accounting policies, processes, and systems across acquired brands
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
  • Manage intercompany transactions, consolidations, and eliminations
  • Drive integration of acquired companies’ financials into corporate reporting structure
  • Maintain compliance with GAAP and implement strong internal controls and audit readiness
  • Oversee external audits and liaise with tax advisors, banks, and PE sponsors
  • Hire, develop, and manage accounting team members with a focus on operational excellence and professional growth
  • Evaluate and improve financial systems and processes to increase efficiency and scalability (ERP experience is critical)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Operations, Legal, and HR teams to support business initiatives and due diligence


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA highly preferred)
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting leadership, with at least 3 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller capacity
  • Experience in a private equity-backed, multi-entity organization; M&A integration experience required
  • Proven ability to build or scale a shared services finance function
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and consolidations
  • Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct) and financial reporting tools
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
