Job Type: Regular Full-Time Work Hours: M-TH 8-5, F 8-12
Effective Date: 5/1/2025 Exemption Status: Exempt
Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000/year
Profit-Sharing: Company Profit Sharing is available and varies based on the business results

Role Summary:
Responsible for overseeing all accounting functions for approximately 20-30 entities, including timely and accurate financial reporting, tax return preparation oversight, accounting operations, loan covenants requirements, and safeguarding the company's assets (e.g., insurance). This position is also responsible for maintaining the integrity of all financial information and establishing, implementing, and documenting accounting procedures and controls.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Assistant Controller, Accountants, Accounts Payable Specialist, and Closing Coordinator
Essential Functions/Job Duties:
* Manage and develop the NBG Accounting and Administrative support team and ensure they manage the accounting needs for all NBG building companies
* Manage construction draws and bill payments for all NBG Companies
* Manage Insurance needs for all NBG Companies
* Prepare annual budget templates for owner-operators to use for yearly forecasts
* Manage the review and closing process for all lot acquisitions
* Present accurate & timely financial statements
* Identify & report other critical financial metrics
* Manage the onboarding process for new owner-operators
* Establish adequate internal controls to safeguard company resources
* Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Requirements
Minimum Required Education/Credentials/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar concentration
* Active CPA License preferred
* Minimum 5 years' construction experience
* Strong understanding of US GAAP for homebuilding
* Experience reviewing tax returns (Partnerships - Form 1065) at a high level
* Ability to work with all levels of management
* Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
* Able to manage multiple priorities and workflow
* Flexible and willing to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
* Proven leadership and business acumen skills

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
