Summary

Responsibilities: ? Payroll Administration: Manage payroll processes, including new state enrollments as needed; preferred knowledge in ADP payroll systems. ? Quarterly Payroll State Reporting: Ensure compliance and accurate reporting of 20 States, either filed by ADP or RDW. ? 401(k) Administration: Handle preliminary and final 5500 audits; bimonthly payroll contributions. ? Committee Member: serve as a member of the 401(k), Finance, and Healthcare Renewal committees. ? Budget Management: Create and maintain annual operating budgets, collect client projections, and monitor cash management and forecasting, including weekly vendor payment approvals. ? Regulatory Compliance: File annual reports across 16 states and handle monthly sales tax filings in 5 states. ? Insurance Oversight: Act as the point of contact and manage renewals for business insurances, including Workers' Compensation year-end audits. ? Accounting & Financial Closures: Manage month-end and year-end closings, including journal entries (Accrual to Cash calculations for tax). ? External Liaison: Coordinate with external CPA for annual tax returns and financial statements, as well as year-end tax optimization. ? Financial Responsibilities: Maintain banking relationships, oversee wire initiations, and calculate fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and disposals. ? Property Tax Filing: File property tax for Providence operations. ? Contract Management: Collect and verify contracts on behalf of the organization. ? Shareholder Agreements: Research, implement, and maintain shareholder agreements; calculate and maintain corporate share valuations, redemptions, and associated payments. ? Reporting: Update finance committee spreadsheets and organizational reporting weekly and ad hoc as needed. ? Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of three, conduct annual reviews, and ensure adherence to GAAP compliance. Qualifications: ? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred. ? Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial leadership role. Agency experience preferred. ? Strong knowledge of GAAP compliance. ? Proficient in digital and hybrid working environments, with proficiency in both MS 365 and Google Suite. ? Experience with ADP and Advantage Software a plus. ? Exceptional communication and analytical skills. ? Ability to support the CEO, CFO, partnership, and management teams with financial insights and recommendations. *
