Job Title: Controller

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to join our finance team. The Controller will oversee all accounting operations, including the preparation of financial statements, budget management, and the implementation of internal controls. This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting and supports the leadership team with financial insights for strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement).
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS), tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
• Prepare and monitor the company’s budget and forecast financial performance.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of all taxes (e.g., corporate, payroll, sales tax).
• Maintain and improve accounting software and systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Operations, etc.) on financial matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP (or IFRS), financial regulations, and tax laws.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite) and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

Working Conditions:
