We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Controller to lead our accounting function, drive process improvements, and help shape our financial strategy as we scale.


About the Role:

The Controller will be a key member of our leadership team, overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. This role offers a mix of hands-on accounting and strategic leadership, with an emphasis on month-end close, quarter-end reporting, and team management. This is a hybrid position with flexibility to work remotely part of the week.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Manage the accounting team, providing leadership, coaching, and development
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support operational and strategic decision-making
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners
  • Continuously improve systems, processes, and reporting to support scalability and efficiency


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, approachable style
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks Enterprise)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
