We are seeking a strong Controller to join a close-knit family office here in Austin. What you'll do:

• Lead month-end close and reporting for multiple multifamily and investment entities
• Prepare intercompany entries, reconciliations, depreciation schedules, and support property tax filings
• Assist with regulatory reporting and coordinate with external CPAs on tax filings
• Oversee payroll administration, 401(k) compliance, and onboarding/offboarding processes
• Contribute to ad hoc projects including estate planning, cash flow tracking, and financial analysis
  
  
  

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to real estate or multi-entity environments
• CPA or CPA-track preferred, but not required
• Comfortable wearing multiple hats and supporting some HR and operational functions
• Excellent communicator with a “get-it-done” attitude and attention to detail
• Enjoys working in a small office environment and values being part of a team

What does this position pay?:

Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected range for this role is $120,000 to $140,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
