We are seeking a highly skilled Control System Engineer Trainee to join our dynamic team. The idea l candidate will possess a strong foundation in control theory and practical experience with control system design and implementation. This role will involve developing and implementing complex control algorithms, working closely with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful integration of control systems into our products.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink and Simscape, focusing on areas such as P, PI, PD, PID, MPC, SMC, Fuzzy logic control, and digital filters.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of control systems, including time response, frequency response, steady state error, and stability analysis.
- Design and develop control system models using state space and transfer function representations, ensuring accurate modeling of system dynamics.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of control systems with physical components.
- Conduct HIL, SIL, and PIL simulations to validate control system performance and identify potential issues.
- Develop and maintain C/C++ code for control system implementation.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in control theory and technologies.
Key Skills
- Strong proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and Simscape.
- Solid understanding of control theory concepts, including state space modeling, transfer function modeling, controllability, observability, and stability analysis.
- Expertise in developing control algorithms for various applications, such as pneumatic and hydraulic valve control.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
- Good to have knowledge of model-based design methodologies and simulation tools (HIL, SIL, PIL).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Special Qualification
- Strong proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and Simscape.
- Experience with microcontroller and microprocessor programming.
- Knowledge of signal processing techniques.
- Good to have experience with control systems in the robotics industry.
