MAU is hiring a Control System Engineer for our client in Indianapolis, IN. As a Control System Engineer you will specify, design and validate complex sub-systems, including high-level requirements for software and hardware system components. You are responsible for on-time delivery and quality of control system work products associated with the validation, design and verification of the system. This shall be achieved through evaluation and modelling of requirements, design and verification work products to ensure that the system implementation satisfies the validated requirements. This is a contract, long-term assignment.

Shift Information:
- Hybrid schedule – 3 days a week onsite/ 2 days remote
Key Accountabilities:
- Evaluate and agree to control system requirements with stakeholders.
- Capture evidence of requirement validation, use cases, design constraints, quality, safety and security attributes, etc., in models and work products.
- Allocate control system requirements to test vehicles defined in the verification plan.
- Analysis of control system functional behavior, including modelling and simulation, to demonstrate that the design meets validated requirements.
- Develop and review control system tests that will provide evidence to demonstrate that the control system requirements have been satisfied.
- Provides targeted testing of control system functionality to support problem investigation and problem closures and customer issues.
- Liaises with other disciplines to understand functional performance capabilities of components of the system to facilitate effective development workflow.
- Produce reports to document the work carried out.
- With the guidance of Control System Specialists, ensure the system detects and accommodates faults.
Key Experiences and Qualifications
- Working knowledge of aircraft engine interfaces, component technology and behavior during normal and abnormal operation, and software and hardware development process constraints.
- A working appreciation of associated engineering disciplines.
- Proficient in design and analysis tools, especially Cameo System Modeler.
- Professional courage to highlight areas of concern and risk with regard to suitability of a product to meet its requirements in a safe and functionally appropriate way.
- Ability to interpret test results and provide an informed opinion or conclusion as to the outcome of the analysis. This includes an understanding of measurement uncertainty.
- Ability to manage tasks to completion, ensuring that the relevant areas of the business are appropriately informed.
- Ability to identify and manage risk in collaboration with team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills, and an ability to understand the level of analysis required.
- Coordination with a multidisciplinary, energetic team of engineers and scientists.
- Able to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
Travel:
- You must be open to traveling up to 25% of the time domestically.
