Summary

Job Title: NC Programmer – FLRAA

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Work Arrangement: Onsite Only

Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM); Must be open to 2nd Shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM) as needed

Visa Requirements: U.S. Citizens Only


About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled NC Programmer to support the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) program. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience programming Mills and Lathes, strong proficiency with CATIA V5 modeling and surfacing, and expertise in Numerical Control (NC) Programming for manufacturing environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and support numerically controlled (NC) production and tooling projects.
  • Create complex lines and surfaces graphically or mathematically for parts, tools, and tooling fixtures, ensuring accuracy within predefined tolerances.
  • Identify design challenges impacting manufacturing or tooling and work closely with engineering teams to resolve issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all NC programs for process control and traceability.
  • Develop tooling/material sketches, NC setup sheets, dimensional charts, and machine operation diagrams.
  • Optimize manufacturing methods based on engineering inputs, focusing on efficiency and quality.
  • Support Manufacturing Operations by ensuring program deliverables meet operational requirements.
  • Estimate costs and hours for NC programming tasks and manage multiple assignments effectively.
  • Provide leadership guidance to junior team members when needed.


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of college coursework or equivalent professional experience, with emphasis on:
  • Mathematics (through Trigonometry and Analytical Geometry)
  • Engineering Materials
  • Processing Technology
  • CADAM, CATIA, and APT Programming
  • Manufacturing Methods and Procedures
  • Mills and Lathes programming experience (must be clearly visible on resume).
  • CATIA V5 modeling and surfacing proficiency.
  • Strong NC Programming background in a manufacturing environment.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with manufacturing development projects and production tooling.
  • Strong working knowledge of engineering, tool design, manufacturing planning, and NC programming processes.
  • Ability to schedule and prioritize multiple programming assignments effectively.
  • Skilled in preparing cost/hour estimates and project timelines.
  • Excellent documentation and process control capabilities.


Additional Information:

  • Must be comfortable working onsite at Fort Worth, TX.
  • Flexibility to transition to a 2nd shift as needed based on project demand.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen to meet compliance requirements for this defense-related project.
