Responsibilities

The role involves

• Development of UAV autopilot software like PX4, Ardupilot, etc.
• Implementation and testing of GNC algorithms for autonomous flying and soft-landing of UAVs.
• Development of an embedded module on which the GNC algorithms will be implemented.
• Extensive SITL, HITL, laboratory and flight testing.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Robot Operating System (ROS).
• Strong knowledge and prior experience in developing PX4/Ardupilot or any other equivalent flight stack.
• Strong background in mathematics, control systems, estimation, and related fields.
• Proficiency in programming (C++ and Python) and development of embedded systems.
• B.Tech./M.Tech. in aerospace, mechatronics, mechanical, electrical engineering or any relevant fields.
