Here we GROW again! Fogco specializes in the manufacture and sale of industry-leading high-pressure misting and ventilation equipment for commercial, industrial, and consumer applications.

Fogco is expanding our product line into new markets and is seeking a skilled and motivated UL Control Panel Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, be UL certified, and possess hands-on experience building and wiring control panels according to schematics and specifications. This role requires precision, efficiency, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and assemble custom electrical control panels in accordance with UL standards (UL508A or equivalent)
• Interpret and work from wiring diagrams, schematics, and layout drawings
• Wire components inside enclosures with a focus on neatness, accuracy, and compliance
• Conduct continuity checks, functional testing, and quality control on completed panels
• Select and install appropriate electrical components such as relays, breakers, PLCs, terminal blocks, and more
• Ensure proper labeling and documentation is completed for all builds
• Troubleshoot and resolve wiring or component issues during the assembly process
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to clarify design and specifications when necessary
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment and follow all company safety protocols

Requirements:

• UL Certification (UL508A Panel Builder or equivalent) is required
• Proven experience building and wiring industrial or commercial control panels
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices
• Ability to work independently and think critically to solve problems
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to use hand and power tools commonly associated with panel building
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Open-minded and flexible, with a positive attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with PLC-based control systems and automation equipment
• Familiarity with CAD or panel design software
• Vocational or technical training in electrical or industrial systems

Compensation

$25-$40/hr starting pay dependent on multiple factors including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience

Fogco is located in Chandler, AZ, near the intersection of I-10 and SR-202.

Work week is Monday – Friday 8AM-5PM, with no shift work, no nights, and no weekend work. Overtime is not typical.
