Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Contracts Specialist in the transport industry, based in Oakland, California. This role involves the administration and understanding of contract definitions within the transport sector and does not require procurement. The Contracts Specialist will work onsite, five days a week, redefining forms and templates and updating procurement manuals.

Responsibilities

• Administer and understand various transport contracts
• Redefine existing forms and templates to enhance clarity and efficiency
• Update procurement manuals in accordance with new board policies
• Monitor and update spending and approval limits as per the latest policies
• Use software tools such as 3M, Adobe Acrobat, Avaya CMS, and Banner Ads for efficient contract management
• Handle amendments, auditing, and billing functions related to contracts
• Administer claims associated with transport contracts
• Operate and manage business systems related to contract administration
• Oversee clinical trial operations related to transport contracts
  
  
  

Requirements

• Must possess proficiency in 3M software to manage business operations efficiently.
• Demonstrable skills in Adobe Acrobat are essential for document processing and management.
• Should have experience with Avaya CMS to ensure effective communication and customer management.
• Familiarity with creating and managing Banner Ads is required for promotional activities.
• Must understand Business Systems to streamline workflow and improve operational efficiency.
• Knowledge of contract Amendments is necessary to manage changes in agreements effectively.
• Auditing skills are crucial to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Must be able to handle Billing Functions efficiently to ensure accurate invoicing and financial management.
• Experience in Claim Administration is required to manage and process claims effectively.
• Clinical Trial Operations skills are necessary to manage, oversee, and conduct clinical trials.
