Preparation and review of Consortium Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, Settlements, Bidding Agreements, Consultancy Agreements, MOUs, Subcontract/Vendor agreements, etc.
Review tender documents, attend proposal kick-off meetings, and understand the contractual framework based on the scope of work.
Analyze the contractual terms and conditions of engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) contracts related to offshore wind projects. Provide deviations/clarifications needed to align the contract with project-specific requirements, legal considerations, and industry standards.
Engage in discussions with clients (project owners/sponsors/lenders/developers) to address any concerns, negotiate terms, and reach mutually acceptable agreements. Finalize the binding terms within the contract. Document all negotiated changes, ensuring legal compliance and obtaining necessary approvals.
Develop strategies to mitigate risks associated with main Contracts for offshore wind projects with a focus to win projects. Focus on ensuring bankability concerns are addressed with Clients without affecting L&T’s position.
Addressing to Contractual clauses and minimize risks associated with indemnities, insurances, finance & taxation for Offshore Wind Project by collaborating with finance/ commercial / insurance departments.
Provide services, guidance and support to Project Managers in administration of the Contract, including drafting, maintaining complete Contractual communications/ correspondence with Client.
Provide flow-down of the contractual requirements set forth in the Main Contract to pursue a rational approach in soliciting quotes and offers from potential vendors/subcontractors, and support procurement and subcontracting in the negotiation of critical terms with Vendors/Subcontractors.
Provide internal contract deliverables to the project management team such as Contract Summary, Contract review documents etc.
Participate in change order internal meetings and review, analyze and arrange for submission of change orders.
Review, analyze and report change order status to management
Prepare, guide, review, analyze and submit Time extension cases to the Client.
Participate in negotiation of change orders and Time extension (EoT).
Provide necessary support in the preparation of the Special Terms & Conditions for procurement and subcontracting and in the negotiation of critical terms with Vendors/Subcontractors.
Execute Delay Analysis of Projects, Prepare Extended/ Prolonged Stay Claims
Assist in smooth closing out of projects.
Aligning with Business Unit processes & procedures, tools etc.
