The Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing the entire contract lifecycle, from negotiation and execution to compliance and closeout. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of contract law, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to support business objectives.
Roles And Responsibilities
Oversee the drafting, negotiation, and management of contracts with clients, vendors, and partners.
Draft and execute and manage Teaming Agreements and NDA’s
Ensure all contracts comply with legal requirements, industry regulations, and company policies.
Collaborate with legal, finance, and business development teams to align contract terms with business goals.
Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly.
Develop and implement contract management processes and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide guidance and training to internal teams on contract-related matters.
Support business development efforts by reviewing and providing input on proposals and bid documents.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation.
Qualifications And Education Requirements
Must have experience subcontract agreements to include development, review, and management of subcontract agreements.
Must have experience reviewing and responding to RFI’s, RFP’s, and PWS’s.
Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of contracts and negotiation.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Must have experience in government contracting and familiarity with FAR/DFARS is a plus.
Education
At least Three years of experience with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Law, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., CPCM, CFCM) preferred.
